Create your Tribe

Those of you following will know I’ve been reading a marketing book lately, but it’s really no ordinary business book. Tate is clearly passionate about inspiring business leaders to find their purpose and make the world a better place to be in!

One point she makes is that we should each find our ‘tribe’, those who share our passions, believe in our visions, and will partner with us.

Taking this from the realm of the business world, and bringing it home to the families I meet and the children I support, here’s a call to you all out there:

As a parent or as an educator, look around for those who inspire and encourage you and connect with them. Build a network around you that makes you feel good, helps you, and supports you. Make friends, like Facebook pages, read books and blogs, talk to people you meet, and go to events and groups… Create your tribe!
